The Forgotten North
Far north, past the near impassable Black Wood, lies the lands known as the Forgotten North. A land of rolling hills, deep valleys, wide fast moving rivers, and old dark forests. Because of the natural hazards impeding travel to this region it is largely forgotten by the southern lands, hence its name, the Forgotten North. The region is all technically under the control of the Lord of Arkney, Lord Hubbert, but for the most part the cities and towns rule themselves in an almost city state fashion.
